Location Details

Ooraminna Homestead

Australia / Hale, Northern Territory
Location ID: #10146745

A replica of an outback town, built as a film set. Sine its build it has starred in several features and TVCs most notably award-winning feature film "Sweet Country" with Sam Neill and Brian Brown, Berlin Film Festival contender "Wolfram" and Amazon hit series "The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart". Just 35 minutes from Alice Springs it is privately owned and it's entirely possible to gain an agreement for the whole site as a lock-off as Warner Brothers just discovered with their US version of "The Bachelor". As places like Silverton near Broken Hill shoot themselves in the foot by building modern extensions and fences, this location is very much authentic outback Australia and very easy to get to from most cities via 737.
